  • Working as Assistant Professor cum Documentation Officer at Centre for Endangered Languages (CFEL), Visva-Bharati Santiniketan, Bolpur.

Area of Interest

  • Machine Translation, Information Retrieval, Computational Lexicography, Discourse Analysis, Language Documentation and Linguistic Ecology etc.

 

Work Experience

  • Worked as a Language Specialist at Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore in KHS Corpus Project.

  • Worked as a Senior Technical Officer at Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore in Linguistic Data Consortium- Indian Languages (LDC-IL) Project.
  • Worked as a Translator and Evaluator in “Caption Language Interface Pack (CLIP)” for Microsoft India.

  • Taught as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi.

  • Worked as a Computational Linguist in English to Indian Language Machine Translation (EILMT)- Bodo Project at Department of Linguistics, NEHU, Shillong.
